Mark 4:25 For to the one who has more will be given, and from the one who does not have, even what he has will be taken away”. Here he who hears will be given more. Romans 10:17 NIV Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word about Christ. Here, “...faith comes from hearing the message,...” Romans 10:17 and that message is, “the word about Christ...” Romans 10:17. Christ is the way to hear the message message and one must hear in order to understand the message.

John 16:33 “These things I have told you so that in me you might have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take courage; I have overcome the world”. We can thank God that Jesus has, "...overcome the world." John 16:33 I Corinthians 15:14 "And if Christ has not risen, then our preaching is in vain, and your faith is also in vain." Without the rising from the dead our preaching is useless. Romans 8:11 "But if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead lives in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies by his Spirit who lives in you." The new life of Christ lives in us.
