Luke 10:33-34 "But a certain Samaritan, as he traveled, came where he was. And when he saw him, he had compassion on him, and went to him, and bandaged his wounds, pouring on oil and wine, and set him on his own animal and brought him to an inn and took care of him."
Just like the good Samaritan the Lord sees us when we have a problem and he comes to us. He bandages our wounds pouring on oil and wine. The Good Samaritan spent one day with the man then paid two denarii or two days wages to symbolize three days in total. As if to say the third day the man would rise. Symbolic for the man needed Jesus to resurrect his soul.
