Luke 22:35 "And he said to them, 'When I sent you without purse, bag, and sandals, did you lack anything?' And they said, 'Nothing'"

Jesus was not saying this to Peter because when Jesus sent Peter earlier in Mark 6:7-9 he sent him with sandals. Jesus did not send the other disciples out with sandals earlier. Jesus was hoping that Peter wouldn't buy a sword as the other disciples were encouraged to in Luke 22:36.

The two swords in Luke 22:38 may be symbolic of something? Perhaps the Holy Spirit was going to be present at the arrest of Jesus in Peter? The Shepherd was there symbolizing God, Jesus was there symbolizing Jesus but Peter may be present representing the Holy Spirit? Peter may have been representing the Holy Spirit and allowed to even though he denied Jesus three times? This may have been a part of why Peter's denial was so symbolic because he was acting as the representative of the Holy Spirit at the arrest of Jesus. It may have been teaching that the representative of the Holy Spirit would be allowed in God's presence to deny Jesus? This may have been a special capability that Peter was demonstrating that Peter could remain the representative of the Holy Spirit even though he denied Jesus? Peter could also be disobedient because he used a sword to cut off the ear of a man when Jesus was arrested, in conflict with being a representative of the Holy Spirit? An angel appeared from heaven in Luke 22:43 to represent the Shepherd. In Luke 22:40 “Pray that you will not fall into temptation.”? This may have been important because Peter may have had special thinking in his mind, special bread in his mind for being a representative of the Holy Spirit? The special bread may have led Peter to places where he would have to choose right from wrong because of the increased power his mind was given from the bread? Peter chose wrong by cutting off the ear of the servant even though he was the representative of the Holy Spirit? If this is not the case where is the representative of the Holy Spirit? Where is he? Look to Peter who may be the representative of the Holy Spirit at the arrest? Peter may also have been the representative of the Holy Spirit during Jesus trial when he was denying Jesus? Satan may have known this representative power that was given to Peter at the arrest and trial. Satan may have wanted to show that Peter was no representative of the Holy Spirit?
